If the production starting point is better than a modified G1 it can only get better.

+ You don't have the added expense of adding a blower or turbos. They are there and the truck is designed from the MFG to work with them.

+ they come with a warranty.

Keep your sound, I'll record a V8 and burn a CD and blast it while driving.

G2 is faster in a strait line. Cool. Not really a selling point for me. Anyone can floor an automatic. Personally im more into the skill aspect of technical road racing. Im getting away from that now and want to expand my horizon to the dirt.

I wanted the best new truck out there and IMO that was the G2. Im looking forward to learning all the aspects of techical off road maneuvering, navigating, and safety from the more knowledgable G1 and G2 owners.

There is usesless banter on both sides. Not all G1 owners are ***** and not all G2 owners are *****.

I can say that ive learned a ton on here and as long as theyre open to me, im looking forward to attending some of the runs offered on here. Im looking forward to the comradory and making some new friends as well.

This thread has been yet another exhibition of envy by jen I V8 mouth breathers in denial of a new V6 beating their trucks....handily.

Nothing can be said to reverse that truth. Conjecture, deflection, berating the truck, it's engine, it's owners, potential or otherwise cannot unwind what happened in that video. The new truck is simply better, higher performing, more powerful and lighter, flat out end of story, close the book...it's over.

The next vid which will undoubtedly be posted here will show all of us how much better it is off-road as well, in every scenario. High speed desert, mud, sand, snow, rock crawling...name the element. It is a forgone conclusion. Hold out as long as you care to. One day you'll realize how much time you've wasted in fighting it.

The G1 sounds better I'll admit. I'm sure Ford flatheads sound pretty cool too.
