I think the difference is when we all joined the forum, we tried to make it better and help each other. I'm sorry to say but it seems like the majority of the gen2 guys are a completely different crowd. They don't care about what started this whole segment. Kind of like a new boss taking over a well run company and saying you guys have been doing it all wrong and I'm hear to set you straight. We all laugh (or get angry) because we know how awesome our company (gen1) is. Best for the new boss to just lay low and while and then maybe make a few changes with time to show maybe it can improve on an already well run company. My recommendation would be to focus on improving FRF and helping all your fellow members. Don't be so defensive if a few drive bys laugh about the v6 or looks because if it's such an awesome truck you won't care. I know I don't when you guys try and call ours the weaker of the two, or outdated or whatever the word of the day is. Us gen1 owners kind of know better lol! Take care...

No. Tire chains.

Even though they're not recommended on either, the gen1 would be able to handle the punishments of running chains much better than the gen2... Not sure if that has been covered yet or not.
