That would be cool...

We are heading up from Monument Valley to Moab on 03/30/15 and plan to be there until 04/02. It is Easter Jeep Safari week but I couldn't change the time as my wife is off that week.

I was just about to ask if you were planning on coming during the Easter Jeep Safari. Moab is crazy that weekend but it should be fun. Take lots of pics.

Has anyone run their Raptor on Hell's Revenge? How did it go?

Yes. Including the hard parts of it like tip-overs, car wash, bath tub, etc. The Raptor is not built for this trail, take this as my warning. Ford ran the trail as someone else mentioned a few posts up but they took all the easy shortcuts.

The Raptor is too long for this trail. I was scrapping, rubbing and banging everywhere. I managed to push the corner of the rear bumper into my rear quarter panel causing body damage. I also dinged the driveshaft which caused my t-case to go out a couple hundred miles later.

It was fun as hell and I'm glad I experienced it. But I wouldn't take my Raptor on it again. Or I'd just go around all the hard shit.

Jeep Safari is a really fun time to be there. Kind of cool being a Raptor in a sea of built Jeeps. Watching Potato Salad Hill on that Sat or Sun is priceless. Thousands of people gathered around watching hammered idiots roll their rigs down the hill.

If you guys make it down then, keep us posted. I'd love to join in the fun this time and show everyone what not to do with your Raptor in Moab.

My cousin rolled his built 72 Blazer down Potato Salad one year. I don't think he's been back since. I have always wanted to go during that time because I heard it was a blast just never made it down there. I know after getting a taste of Moab I really want to go back and do some more exploring.

I'd love to see what not to do in a Raptor while in Moab though lol.

@factive do you think if you had a dovetailed bed and a front bumper with frame horns cut you would have had the clearance and approach angles? From the footage I have seen it looks like that would give you enough to clear everything. Could be wrong. Cool pics if you got more throw em up please.

Thanks Factive... I was thinking I would go around the hard stuff no matter what because before your report I didn't have much real info on what to expect with a Raptor...

The rest of the trail is OK while using the bypass? What about the exit? I'm reading there is a drop off but conflicting info on if it is really bad or not bad depending on vehicle...

We will be there for sure but no weekend plans... We will be in Monument Valley until the 30th and I want to head out on 04/02 so we can stop by Zion on the way back home.
