Misfire?

Still present so I changed the purge valve due to ease and it’s still there. I can’t see the idle fluctuation on the tach but it almost seems to idle like it’s got a super mild cam. Maybe I’m overthinking this.

So shot in the dark, but these purge valves are supposed to tick or not? the brand new one (motorcraft CX2695) I put on still ticks.

spark plugs ar due at 100k. being a 93, start with that since its a must do service. then go into exploratory theories

Delaying the inevitable it seems. I feel its a fueling issue but I do see the benefit of changing the plugs soon.

It’s a normally closed valve. It may be cycling due to DTCs being set, I’d start there.

Perhaps a soft code that doesn't trigger a CEL? I ordered the revised part number.

I had a bad spark plug and this is what was happening to me. New plugs/wires/coils around 87,000 fixed my issue
