Message I get when I enter a 2012 Raptor Order

Right, that entire event was a "hey yall, watch this".... Could have seen that coming a mile away. Raptors are still factory vehicles off the same production line with $20k F150s and are not custom built race trucks. I don't care what pictures Ford shows you... How has some guys beating the crap out of their vehicles given the F150 a black eye? Knowing the course is 90% of racing/driving fast. Not having personally prerun a course is like diving into a pool without testing the depth.

I would agree, that one event/mishaps isn't going to be the end-all for the Raptor.

On a side note I am very curious now how the front camera will be integrated? Bumper? Grill? or cheesy license plate surround? One of the first modifications I would like to do is some ADD bumpers..

The video I saw showed a Raptor driving fast on an offroad trail, not really beating on the truck. Somebody posted that all of the Raptors got bent frames = design weakness.

It's not like the trucks are advertised on 24" spinners.

sounds like back in 06 when the megacabs came out, alot of the frames cracked and broke right past the back of the cab. people are still buying them. dodge recovered gracefully. a few isolated incidents wont squash the whole project.

Got the call today from my dealer. Does not look like my 2011 is going to be built so retrieving my deposit and going after a 2012 in August. Any idea what the price difference between the two is approx.?

It wouldn't surprise me if Ford cancelled Raptor production. Stuff like that Barstow to Vegas frame bending fisaco gives the F150 brand a blackeye.
