I'm looking to calculate if a Gen 2 SCREW will clear under some garage door equipment for an underground lot. Unfortunately "just test one" isn't an option, but doing the math from a mechanical side drawing shouldn't be too hard if I can get the measurements!

There's a Nissan Titan SCAB (with a 2" front leveling kit) that clears with a few inches, so I'm betting things will work, but I was hoping to get some numbers here to figure it out.

Basically I need to figure out the height of the cab at each point along the wheelbase. I can use that to model the clearance fairly easily.

Thanks

I’ve got a 2017, and didn’t measure all points, I took the highest point measurement when the truck was new with fresh tires and got 6’6.5”. I can get into most garages labeled 6’8 or greater in my area unless they have a 6’8” low spot near the entry or exit of an incline or decline.

I keep a tape measure in the cab just in case. I know this is not a direct answer, but hope it helps.

ha... yeah, I already keep a tape measure in the cab of my current truck (mostly for other reasons, but every once in a while I check some clearance!).

The problem in my case is that I'm dealing with a non-level clearance calculation (this is the breakUNDER angle/clearance, so to speak).

How high is your garage or garage door? Mine is 82'' height for the garage doo and clear the garage door without any issue. I have probably 2'' off from clearance with the door

I also have a Lariat with 2'' level in the front and 1'' in the rear, it clear just fine too.. but barely... the highest point is the antena thing on the roof, and I have about 1 '' off clerance with the garage door.

According to the manual the truck is 78.5 inches. My garage is 80" and when I pull in I'd say I have about 1.5 inches of clearance at the highest point which I believe is the little GPS antenna at the top of the truck so the manual seems correct. 6.6 feet seems like the minimum clearance without consideration to any potential bumps. I entered a garage that had 6'8" clearance and was ok but it felt like I was going to hit every cross member...nerve racking but worked. All I could think about was weather the cement has expanded or some roof fixture had sagged after construction...LOL

My problem is that I can't use normal measurements (without some trigonometry) to see if the truck will clear. Basically the truck models as a trapezoid and I need to use the wheelbase and the top surface to figure out if I'll clear. Check this out:

Edit:
* the garage height (red) is 84" (true *clearance* is just a touch under that)
* the yellow driveway is 8.8% grade

I got what you mean now.. Base on your drawing, I think if that underground parking garage is at leat 80'' height, you should be able to clear it when the truck angle up on the ramp. I parked in an odd parking garage similar like the one you draw but it was at 7' clearance and got no issue.

What's the clearance point (max height of that garage entrance?

This is a 7' garage (so clearance is maybe a 1/16" of an inch less). I currently have a 2004 Titan King Cab rated at 76.6" tall and 140" wheelbase. When I drive through the garage I get down to about 2" of clearance, maybe a bit less. The 2019 Raptor SCREW is 78.5" and 146" (almost exactly 2" taller and a touch more wheelbase, when essentially raises the clearance number a bit).

On flat ground the door is plenty high, so it's just the driveway angle that forces the math here.

who’s going to see scuffs and scrapes on the roof anyway ?
