On my instruction sheet is says EC/CC. I originally figured that meant Extended Cab and Crew Cab. Works for both. I guess I'll find out next month when the dealer installs it at day 1 (unless someone here installs it on a SCAB first). The product looks awesome and sounds just as good. It seems like many exhausts need modification to one thing or another. Whether it's a bracket that doesn't line up or bolts that don't fit or whatever. Why can't they all just smoothly fit right on? I have no idea.

Yeah, now I am curious again. And I feel the same way. The fact that MBRP did'nt even know the SCAB and SCREW have the same bed length kinda makes you wonder... Regardless, I am sure you are going to have to do some cutting. There's no way it will fit right onto the SCREW and then do the same with the SCAB with no other modifications. I am planning on doing my exhaust install by myself, and I really don't want to have to do any cutting. Obviously it's not very hard to measure out 12 inches and cut it off, but what if something happened and then it was too short and didn't fit anymore? That would be my concern. I would rather find an exhaust that is made to be direct bolt-on to the SCAB, like it should be. I am looking at Corsa, and I am under the impression that that's the case for them.

Well I won't be able to buy and install an exhaust until late next month.

Let us know how you make out and if there is indeed any cutting. I'm not even 100% sure I want to go with MBRP but seems to be the one I'm looking at right now. I want a turndown for the simple fact is performance. The more bends in an exhaust = more restriction.

Crew cab it bolts right up, super easy, fits perfect. A 15 minute job.
The scab needs to have a bit of pipe cut off the intermediate pipe.
The measurment is in the instructions, and that end of the pipe goes into the muffler with a slip fit and muffler clamp.
Super easy install either way.
The first exhaust I've had that fit perfectly without any dicking around.

It's a minor issue but you would think they would sell a EC (SCAB) version and make it a little more clear.

My instructions say that the front pipe resonator assembly will require trimming on some models. (that sounds like their generic sentence for all makes and models).

And of course is says our SCAB bed lengths are 6.5' instead of 5.5' as already noted. Not a big deal but still. All that aside, it looks quality built and from sound clips and what others have said, it should sound sweet!

so its not like we buy a new exhaust and then have to get it cut and re welded right? im down to chop off a foot with a hack saw and then slip joint it up... some pictures may make this more clear but i found some for 360 and change shipped so i may bite the bullet since my JBA has a hole in the pipe :( so if someone wants a cheap exhaust i'll be selling the JBA side exit soon lol

lol damn this whole time ive been talking about the turn down exhaust not the catback rear exit one... so is cutting still necessary?
