Scanned the manual. It says to enhance towing performance use premium gas. As well it differentiates between King Ranch leather and other leather. Which leather does Raptor use and what is the difference?
Premium fuel is needed for maximum engine performance. "King Ranch" is a large cattle ranch in Texas. The KR leather comes from there. The Raptor leather is elephant ******** although baby seal skin is an option.
C'mon guys, it's all circumscribed nowadays. Now you prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads. And I'm gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone. No, no make that Quaker State.
Silver is correct. I know a guy, who is driving one and he said just today, he can "really" notice the difference in engine performance when running premium fuel.
We have 91 octane premium non ethanol and 93 octane ethanol here. 93 runs better it seems. Wish we had 93 non...but that ain't happening. Most shops just got the 93 E around here! Probably shouldn't even run ethanol in it but will only fill up half way unless I'm going on a trip and plan to drink gas
The Raptor community has always confused me in this regard. They'll spend $300+ on a "cold air intake" to get .3 hp but won't fill the tank with premium to get 10+ hp and peace of mind. It's a nice truck. Give it the best fuel.
