Hey Titanjc.... If you’re not decided about the setup that you want yet and are looking for a moderate sound that is not obnoxious but much deeper than stock.... check out the corsa Sport muffler. Nick had recommended it to me and I love the sound. Strictly a muffler replacement so the resonator is still in place. Nice deep sound with very little rasp unless you really stomp on it. Check it out

Haha... I started this thread after trying the Corsa Sport and not caring for it, see my first post. Glad you like it though.

Awww man...I was even in in this thread earlier. Too many hits to the head I guess! I do like the Corsa sound....a bit loud on cold start but sounds good when you stomp in it. Not too raspy for me. Good luck with the D-fit.

No worries! For what it's worth I did love the WOT sound on the Corsa, and there was zero rasp or drone at cruising speed. My issue with it was in traffic, which I unfortunately sit in quite a bit. I had a fair amount of resonance in the cab when doing the stop-and-go creep from about 5 mph to 20 mph which got on my nerves a bit too much to listen to daily. Full throttle with the windows down sound great though!

I see why you can not re-use the stock clamp because they are welded on! LOL!

But, sadly, Magnaflow sent the wrong clamp...one is correct but the other is AccuSeal 69.9mm and according to their site is for a 2 3/4" joint and will not work on a 3" pipe although I did try hard before coming in to look it up.

I called MF and I have to say speaking with Gerard from MF was similar to smashing your finger with a hammer...
MF: well, we have never had a problem with the hardware in our kits and you should just go buy new clamps but your bigger problem is I don't recognize where you purchased from and therefore it is probably not a genuine MF part. ME: Um, OK, so you are telling me no one has ever called in to you on any kit b/c you sent wrong parts? I really find that hard to believe...MF: well, send me your receipt and we will evaluate your claim and IF VALID we will ship you the correct clamps in 1-2 weeks! ME: You can not correct your mistake faster than 1-2 weeks? MF: No, and I don't believe this is our mistake. ME: The part no. written on the clamp states on the manufacturers site it is for a 2 3/4" joint...your product is a 3" diameter tubing, how can that not be your mistake? MF: This is most likely not our part. ME: Well, this has not been helpful but I will send the receipt.

Sure, I can go to the parts store and probably will but so disappointed with MF service level...

After reading this, I happened to find this review on Amazon. Apparently you're not the only one who got a wrong clamp.

How did it turn out? I really like the Magnaflow products and I am considering the D-Fit muffler, but I wasn't sure if I needed to do the resonator delete in addition to the D-Fit muffler. Can you share your experience and opinion?
Thank you.

I've had the D-Fit on for about 2,000 miles now, and I think it's the perfect "OEM+" muffler as some other members have described. For me, it slots in nicely between the factory Raptor muffler and the Corsa Sport. The cold start is deeper and slightly louder, and when the sound levels out has a nice low burble to it; it is noticeably NOT stock. The sound at full throttle is like an amplified version of stock with a deeper growl to it. No drone at cruising speed. It's never going to confuse anyone that you might have a V8, which seems to be what a lot of Raptor owners are chasing, but if you like the sound of the EcoBoost, you'll like the MagnaFlow.

The only negative to me is that there is still some "booming" noise around 2000 RPM when accelerating in traffic, but it's less than the Corsa. After trying two different exhausts, this just seems to be a function of opening up the EcoBoost.

I wouldn't recommend deleting your resonator it will rasp like a SOB if you do.
