Luxury Performance Raptor Gone up in Smoke?

I believe the LPR had a Pro Charger which was installed by Hennessey before they started using Roush Chargers

It was originally sent to Hennessey for the Procharger when it did it's original 2011 SEMA, then when Hennessey switched to Roush last year, he switched to Roush as well for SEMA 2012. Last I heard, Roush was still the supercharger on that truck. I'm not sure if it was installed by Hennessey or not.

And to think there is a Hennessy raptor in rpgs shop right now getting the full treatment hope he invests in a fire suppression system for when if catches fire.

superchargers don't cause fires though, fuel systems do, I bet Hennessey still uses the same fuel system they used when they started making supercharged raptors, and something in it is failing and causing these fires

Dan, I'm not 100% sure but I believe he was running TVS setup same as ours, whether it was a Roush kit installed by a Roush authorized installer or Hennesseys install and tune idk.

I started a thread to ask Roush more "details" directly. Unsure if all my "details" were spot on, but I'm awaiting a response regardless .

No problem. I found this thread from last year, then a few days later he posted a for sale thread with some stuff for sale, and his ProCharger system. Then he said he had sold everything a few days later. I didn't find anything about him putting a Roush on yet, It may be in his crazy long RPG Stage Ross thread however.

I don't think this one can be blamed on Hennessy if they were not the installer of the second Supercharger?

Knowing Chris his first concern would have been the safety of those involved. His next question would be when can we start the next one.

Sorry for the loss Chris. We have all watched this incredible truck from its inception and all feel a bit of the pain in losing it.

The most important thing is no one was injured.

^It more boils down to how many other Hennessey Raptors have burned, so it seems like a kit design flaw.
