What happened to me when I had the Hennessey intake and id imagine could happen to others running similar designs (wet/dry filter, and not enclosed). When water goes over your hood it drips down directly onto your intake because of those hood vents and in my case very muddy water lol.... Now I have peace of mind with the Volant power core combo.

On trucks like ours I just honestly don't see any other option than the Volant and I guess corsa also. The power core filters are the same ones used in like heavy duty construction rigs. Designed to be able to prevent a ridiculous amount of particulate matter from ever getting into your motor. I had a fresh filter on my truck for the last TRR and after words I went ahead and bought another one thinkin it had to have been full of dirt/sand after that weekend. Turns out it was fine lol.

And they do have a unique intake grunt that sounds pretty good when you mash on it.

thank you for the reply!! i think ive decided on the roush cai and exhaust combo sounds pretty badass. what kind of number do you think youd see with that combo mail vs dyno tune? (still afew months off im recovering from Christmas just planing what i want to do lol.)

DRJ What made you decide on this combo? Keep in mind we are competitive with our pricing.

Im a fan of roush productslol. i had a roush intake on my 08 mustang and loved it. i like the way the roush exhaust sounds the only thing i dont like about it is that is exits out the back. not a 100% decided yet.
