Ah ok that explains it. I remember a lot of trucks would rust behind the wheels first from all the salt spray kicked up by the tires. I know ours are aluminum so less worry there.

My dad still has my '02 Acura and no body rust at all and the undercarriage looks good too. Daily driver here in the Northeast as well!

Not a chance. Don’t get me wrong they are beautiful trucks but my Roush has everything they have except the fox 3.0 suspension. I have the 2.0 but do not plan on doing any serious off-roading so it is not needed. Since this is a road salt/ undercoating conversation I want to add that some car washes will turn away a Raptor because of the wide wheelbase.

Regarding my Roush, it has the supercharged coyote that puts out 600 hp stock. I can also add a smaller pulley for another 50 hp . One last mention is that you can’t drive down the street without seeing a Raptor these days. I saw two Roush F150’s in the last year (one was yesterday).

My truck came in couple weeks ago and first thing I did was get it clear bra, paint corrected and ceramic coating :)
