Well, there's a question of relativity. Do mean versus stock? Here was my progression. I went from stock to an AFE cold air intake. That actually made it sound a bit throatier (stock exhaust at the time). Then I went to a supercharger and a Magnaflow cat back. That made a drastic difference - much more of a throaty V8. More cab noise, but not terrible drone. Then I beefed up the supercharger and went to full dual exhaust. The truck is louder, but not horrible like some. It definitely has more cab noise, but it's so consistent that the truck is known for lulling people to sleep when driving. It sounds nasty on a cold start. I'm honestly not one for super loud exhausts - I'm about functionality, and sometimes that comes with some increased noise. So, knowing that I'm not a ALL THE NOISE IN THE EXHAUST kinda guy, I'd say my truck is at the edge of where I'd want it. My wife is ok with it too, and she wouldn't like obnoxious. Now, compared to stock it's WAY louder.
