Lol TRX breaks 1st trip out

This guy posted an updated video today. Transmission had a line pop off (my guess is the line to/from the cooler) and he lost his fluid. Ram had a rep there to diagnose and document, they are getting him a new transmission, and gave him a limited 1500 as a loaner.

Did he not taste/smell the fluid to see what it was? May have been able to save the tranny if he had not stupidly limped it to the dealer with no fluid in it...not to mention incredibly dumb to drive on streets with the truck behaving like that.

Love the "muddy" engine bay shot like that was a potential issue that engine looks like mine after I spend two hours cleaning it thank to those lower fans giving the engine bay a mud bath.

I think the best way to settle this whole debate is for Ford and Ram to do either a 3 vs 3 team race, or a 1 on 1 race on the Mint 400 or the SCORE Baja 500 course, with "bone stock" straight off the assembly line 2021 yr model rigs, with only safety harnesses, and a roll cage added..........winner takes all bragging rights, period. You can bet one of those TRX jockeys will get too happy with his Right foot on a rough straight and lose it somewhere on the course, or he'll have to slow down to keep from bottoming out with all that weight in front.......

The way the Raptor's lighter weight in the engine bay helps it not have to work as hard off-road, and is a good balance that I'll bet will outhandle the TRX in turns, technical trails, and jumps.

Exactly. He wrote off the transmission by driving it home after it puked out the fluid. Getting it towed would have saved a lot of heartbreak. I unsubscribed to him long ago because of the cringe....but this neon TRX is a trainwreck with him behind the wheel that I can't look away from.
