Locks are not working properly (Gen 1)

Can not lock from the door panels, but the key fob works fine (locking and unlocking).

Anyone run across this? If so, what's the fix?

Like, the interior panels right? Not, the keyless entry? If interior, you check your fuse? Keyless entry, does it light up?

- Interior panels. The fuse is good (first thing I checked).
- Keyless entry (key fob) interior and exterior lights up.

could be a bad switch panel.

Does it work from the passenger side?
If both sides don't work, it could be a bad BCM (Body Control Module).
The plug connection from door to front A pillar is easily removeable by releasing the latch, may want to check inside there.

I have the same problem on my 2013. Have not been able to figure it out. Also my keyless entry works fine and then turns off after around 1 hour locking me out.

LOL! Luckily that hasn't happened to me yet. I'm going to have it check out (It's under a warranty program) and will get back to you what I find out.

Haha yes has locked me out after surfing a couple times. I’m from Orange County. Looking forward to hearing how you fix it!

Was born in 29 Palms, Boot Camp at MCRD San Diego, Stationed El Toro (Marine Air Base, now closed) and Camp Pendleton. Have relatives in Livermore. Make a trip out there once a year.
