So i was out off roading today and I had a little encounter with a tree today unfortunately. i hit the front passenger side. First the bumper hit a tree then the tire hit as well. i was on a slanted trail and the truck slid right into it nothing i could have done differently. Tie rod is bent pretty bad, from what i could see. the whole wheel is 6" back towards the cab. What do you think had to break or bend to allow the whole wheel to be pushed backed. The wheel was turned left when it hit. I was trying to pull away from hitting the tree. I just installed New Icon Delta UCA's last week unfortunately. The transmission would not shift automatically. had to put it in manual. After 3 startups the transmission fixed its issue. Any thoughts are appreciated. I just wanted to get an idea before i make a claim.

Here are some pics. I measured the door to hub on the driver and the same on the passenger. 6" difference. I was gonna have the boatec fenders replaced anyways because of warping issues.

The lower A-arm bolt mount on the frame is slotted. With enough force you can pull out the front bolt and jam in the rear bolt which will in effect push the wheel back a few inches. Beyond that I suspect you have bent the frame. Fix the bent steering rod, adjust the A-arm bolts, and take it to a frame straightening body shop. Once the frame is back to specs, have it aligned.

it can be bent back, but I would imagine there will be a weak spot. That lower control arm shifted in its slots. The reward pushing in, pulled the front outward. Shift the whole wheel back towards the cab by chance?

Thanks fellas for the input. I'll have it checked out this week. Now the fender liner inner issue. I have boatec fenders and liners. The passenger liner is cracked pretty good in multiple spots. Are there any other options for these fenders besides having to order another pair and have it line x'd? Outlaw has a pair of aluminum ones for $2k. Won't be dropping that much on liners

agree the frame is def bent. get it to a frame shop first and work from there if you are paying out of pocket? if you are using insurance take it to a good body shop and let them figure it out.
but if my money I would be at the frame shop first.

The reason I suggest getting the A-arms in place with the bolts in mid position before the frame straightening is that those that straighten the frame want everything in place while straightening the frame...or completely stripped. This way they can bring it into specs. Talk with the shop that will be straightening the frame; they may say it's OK as is...but in my experience they will want it as complete as is possible...
