I'm excited. Great sounds and I really like the modular design. If starting with the 2FG, how much of the existing system do you need to pull apart to swap out this part?

Also (and I know you're likely keen on branding) but is there any chance of there being an option for TIPs without logos?

Nice! The 2FG will require the mid muffler to be removed. Placement referenced below:

Negative on the brandless tips :)

I can't tell if Guy is a troll or not lol.

Great work on the exhaust, I'll probably get this instead of Corsa.

Not a troll, but a typical keyboard warrior who has little first hand knowledge, but parrots what he has seen or read or "heard from his guy at the shop"

Not sure if it’s been asked or not but why was the H pipe configuration used over the X pipe? No doubt the H pipe is more throaty.

Look at my post counts and the number and types of posts I’ve made, including several reviews and how-tos. Also, look at how long I’ve been a member. Then decide if I’m trolling.

If I’m asking very good questions. You should be as well.

For the record I’ve bought and trialed 4 different exhausts already for my truck. I’m deciding if I want to make this a 5th attempt.

Josh,

I’m still having trouble wrapping my head around this thing.

You’re telling me.... a muffler delete... with a welded in H pipe isn’t loud and droning? You don’t hear it buzzing on the highway at 70mph?

The key difference here is they leave the factory resonator. I replaced my muffler with the FlowMaster FlowFX kit and it sounds very similar to the 2FG. The Flow FX does not have an internal H pipe, but it is a dual 3" straight through design. It sounds great on acceleration, but quiet the rest of the time. It does NOT drone on the highway at any speed. I am also running the 93 PRX and SPD TAs among other mods.

When I listened to their video of inside the cab, it sounded the same as mine when driving on the highway, so I will give the benefit of the doubt of no drone.

All good my man. I'm new here, just got my raptor. But you clearly stated in your first post that you would not buy it for your daily. So your second post is confusing...

That is all.

The X-pipe creates high pitch raspy sounds, which are needing to be eliminated. The H-pipe does that.
