My dealer just informed me that ford has limited the production of the 37 performance package, they don’t no the number as of now. Due to part shortage and the blue interior. They also told me there will not be a 37 package for 2023. I just don’t no why ford is having so many problems with such a demand for a popular truck. Just wondering if any of you have also been told this same information???

A - Don't trust your dealer. They don't have all the information and have a motive for getting you to buy now instead of later.

B - There are real supply shortages. It's not a matter of an unwillingness to meet demand.

C- know....not no.

D- No need to post the same thing twice. That just divides the discussion and adds confusion.

Your dealer is 90% full of crap. You don't need blue interior to get 37s for 2022 as per the order guide. Your dealer seems to be giving you the "hot scoop' on commodity constraints from the 2021s wherein some part of the 37 pack was constrained (be it the ugly blue seats, the 37" tires, the unique shocks, whatever--not sure we ever really knew what it was).

I assure you your dealer does not know anything about 2023 options. It would be a very unusual move for a major manufacturer to offer a 'groundbreaking' option like 37" tires and then back away. Look at the trend in the industry with the Bronco available with 35s and now Wranglers in response.

The upcoming Bronco Raptor has been photographed repeatedly on 37s and that won't even be out until mid to late 2023. Ford is building a Raptor 'brand' with the F-150 as the OG and centerpiece. It WILL NOT be upstaged by a Bronco with respect to running gear.

So you are saying Fords going to cancel my 82K order? And I could give a **** when it comes in. It's not my daily driver. My 18 only 10k miles.

That would be weird of any manufacturer cancelling their most profitable vehicle.

And my dealer has already sold 4 - 37 trucks last year ordering with covp.
Usually they will inform the dealer to cancel and have them resubmit next model year. Would definitely talk to the inventory manager as Raptors are treated differently, mines confirmed as well but I’m 99% sure I won’t get it due to no allocations.

No, he's probably just letting you know that order confirmation means absolutely nothing. I had a 2021 37 on order from my dealer. My order was confirmed and sat as "Unscheduled - Clean" until 2022 orders opened up and I had to reorder and hope my dealer received an allocation for the 37 in 2022. Fortunately, they did and I'm scheduled for 2.10.22 production.
