I originally ordered on June 10 or whatever day the order books opened. Like everyone else still waiting. Approximately Nov/Dec it was upgraded to a 2022. Several weeks ago I received my uodate of build week Feb 21st and VIN number and priority code was switched from 10 to 1. Just waiting on the actual day of build As I intend to drive over to the Rouge and watch em being made that day. Hoping this is a done deal now??? Code Orange 37 NO blue seats and loaded. So we will see soon where we are on this thing. But its potential progress. Good luck to me and everyone else.

Lower priority code, mine being 19 on my order and their earlier stock order an 80. Wouldn’t that mean mine is farther along in the process?
Priority codes affect production for that specific dealer only. However, at this time they are worthless due to the various commodity constraints.

For your VIN, you need to contact your dealer for that. You can contact Ford Performance, if they tell you the truck is scheduled, then the VIN has been created. Contact your dealer to get the VIN.

when they ask for a "non-refundable" deposit, most of them will accept a credit card payment. Pay with a card, don't be a nub and give them cash or a cashier's check, this gives you no options. If down the road you want it back and they wont give it to you, refute the transaction with your cc company.

Appreciate the info! How long on a 12-30-21 order should I allow them before asking for a VIN? If they don’t provide a VIN at some point, they just took a deposit with no allocation?

The 22 guys will have a better idea on when a VIN will be generated, but it will likely be 4 to 6 weeks after placing the order. If you get a VIN, the dealer has an allocation. Unfortunately, there is no way to prove/disprove that the dealer has an allocation if the VIN isn't created soon.

My VIN and Production week showed up random in an email from ford. But barring an earth ending astroid hit having priority “1” which is incredibly rare means that that truck is gonna gonna be built. Next email should be that exact day.

I just don’t no why ford is having so many problems with such a demand for a popular truck.
You're more than a bit out of touch with what's going on in the world. First, Ford cares WAY more about getting regular F-150s produced. Raptors are nothing to them by comparison. Second, there are supply shortages across multiple parts of the truck and regular F-150s. If they could produce like it's 2019 they would.
