A - Don't trust your dealer. They don't have all the information and have a motive for getting you to buy now instead of later.

B - There are real supply shortages. It's not a matter of an unwillingness to meet demand.

C- know....not no.

D- No need to post the same thing twice. That just divides the discussion and adds confusion.
“know” Was killing me too…lol lol

if anyone is wondering, the email from Ford really doesn't mean squat.

On another note, is there a way, besides asking the dealer for it, to get the zone reps information to call them and find out if the dealer actually has an allocation? That seems to be the only way to actually find out if your dealer has an allocation. And I do not see the dealers handing out the zone reps contact information.

May try reaching out to your dealers’s zone rep to confirm but even that can be a toss up, I suppose! But one sure way to know is if you receive your VIN here in the next several weeks.
I will await a VIN, not sure how to find a zone rep. Another dealership at MSRP, showed me three build sheets, one that match my order with the deposit at another dealership. They said the order was placed when the window opened for 22’s. No deposits holding it, but needed $1000 nonrefundable. I have first allocation on TRD Pro, maybe March and 22 35 supposedly first in line, if they really have the allocation…
Thanks for information!

First, you can contact your dealer for their zone rep info. From what I’ve read here, some dealers will give you that info while some won’t, much less the status of build. Second, do any of those 3 orders, placed way back when, have a VIN yet? Third, $1000 non refundable…some have gotten burned by a shady dealer that tried this (can’t remember the dealer). I wouldn’t hang might hat on an empty promise but if you ”know” this dealer to be honest (there’s an oxymoron), then go for it.

no dealer should want a non refundable deposit for any vehicle that they know they can sell especially a raptor. unless you have some crazy *** options on it. but I dont think that can ever be the case with the raptor. that would be hell no on the non refundable.

The dealer I'm buying from, you know...if the truck that had a blend date exactly 3 months ago ever gets there, said that they have 2 allocations this year. Last year, they had 3, but only 2 were picked up for production.

I appreciate the information. I will wait a few weeks to see if I get a VIN. Is that given via an email from Ford or do I have to call Ford Performance? I feel if I ask them this early for a contact number to zone representative, that I don’t trust them. Maybe I am number one for an allocation and just slipped…
As far as the other dealership with three build sheets, I think they are stock with a lower priority since they have no deposits. Trying to tell me they will get it first, but need a $1000 non refundable. Because if they change the name on the order, Ford will hit them with $1000 for false allocation. Sounded like BS, I walked away. Here is the one close to my order.

I agree, no crazy options. White, 801A,Moonroof & Tailgate, Carbon Fiber, Forged 17”, Spray in. Pretty standard.
Told me if I back out due to other dealership getting it first and they change name, Ford fines them $1000! I call BS!

Lower priority code, mine being 19 on my order and their earlier stock order an 80. Wouldn’t that mean mine is farther along in the process?
