Escept they are messing with the elections outside of the 4 counties that are Portland and Salem, Oregon; east side of Cascades is nothing but read until recently started turning Deschutes county (home to Bend, the largest city east of the Cascades and the big draw to Californians).

Not happy,move on...............

2019 802A - $923 to renew in CA.... Can't wait as I will be transferring to Florida for work!

Are you kidding me? It is like $110 to renew my 2020 Raptor tag each year in FL. I don’t know how people put up with Cali.

* It would be even cheaper, but I have a speciality tag and have custom letters on my tag for my Raptor.

California is more enjoyable to live in than Florida.

I've lived in both. **** Florida with a rusty spike.

Not really. The quality of life is much better in Florida and you don’t have to deal with all the liberal nonsense. I’ve never met one person that moved from Cali and regretted it. I spend a lot of my time in the Northwest and western Canada and those places are just as scenic. Cali is a beautiful state, but it has been ran to the ground—hence why your charging residents 10 times what it would cost elsewhere to renew their tag and yet they still have the biggest homeless problem in the nation.

One of the only things that you cannot replicate elsewhere is the off-roading that Cali has to offer and the quick access to Baja.

Yeah, definitely not a fan. It'll cost me a little over $500 to transfer the title and register in FL, it's like $91 every 2 years in FL which is awesome.

I think California is a beautiful state, tons of fun off-roading adventures, unfortunately the cost of living is terrible. I will miss seeing mountains, however, I am building a house in FL and for the same price in California I would have gotten a cardboard box under the I-5.

I think you're misconstruing what is being said here. I don't like Florida; Its a subjective thing. You can ramble about liberal policies all you want, thats not my bag. I'm talking about my enjoyment, and I didn't enjoy that swampy hell hole at all.

Plus you talk about cost, San Diego is one of the cheapest places I've lived. Honolulu is insanely expensive for cost of living stuff... but if you're talking about just registration, well then shit its only 25 bucks baby.
