I just installed Eibachs this past Friday. I’ve put about 100 miles on the truck since then. No off-road miles. My initial thought is they ride a little stiffer than stock (as others have noted). I definitely feel more of the road. Not bad at all, but not as plush as the stock shocks. I added new wheels and tires at the same time, so that might impact the ride a bit. The tires are 35x12.5x17 10 ply Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I’m thinking the 10 ply might have something to do with it.

Did you swap out the shocks too?

I’m beginning to think there’s a lot of incorrect information on here...

Most likely. Went from a C load rating tire to an E load rating, so that will have some impact.

This. With the stiffer load rating, you will probably have to air down a little. On my Wrangler I have the E load rating BFG KO2 and its standard in the Jeep community to air these down and keep them at 30psi on the street. In fact AEV tuned the shocks on my lift for these tires at that pressure, and after airing down it made a huge difference in ride quality.

I installed Eibachs on the front, so yes.

I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but definitely not as silky smooth as the stock ride. I think the tires might have more to do with it than the shock though.

I have the pressure set to 37psi right now. Not sure I’m willing to go to 30# as it might kill my gas mileage.

I had Readylift 2.5 collars when I took this picture. That destroyed the ride - rode like a hay wagon.

Swapped for Eibach springs and now it’s rides like a Cadillac by comparison. But still slightly stiffer than stock - slightly.

Also, I’m running 37” BFG KO2’s.

Taking it to Ford tomorrow to see if they can zero the front shocks. I’ve read this will help further soften the ride.

Looks nice! Are you running 37’s in that picture? Is it a 2019?

Let us know if the dealership is able to help!
