No rattle on start up, but once warm the engine sounds like a tractor at idle. That’s the only way I can describe it. It’s not super loud, but definitely noticeable at driver side front wheel well and at the front of the truck. Can’t really hear it from passenger side.

Truck is a 2017 with 45k miles. COBB tune since about 15k miles.

Using any oil? Sounds like the beginnings of a turbo bearing failure to me - my two cents... hope you get it all sorted out

Zero oil consumption. Thanks for the reply. Might take it to dealer and see what they say. Although, there’s no CEL so they may say there’s nothing they can do until it grenades. ‍♂️

Sounds one of the noises mine is making, not sure what it is. If you open the hood, is it louder from what sounds like the front top of the engine? I will be taking mine in to the dealer this week. Symptoms: not present when cold, reliably occurs when warmed up, very noticeable from outside at idle.

Yep, same noise. Let me know what dealer says!

Sounds like normal injector clicking
I considered this; friend's 2019 doesn't do it, and I don't remember mine doing this when new. It's also been suggested that it's an exhaust leak in another thread. It doesn't sound like exhaust leaks I've heard in the past, but I haven't ruled it out. Will report back both places when I get root cause.

They changed the foam cover on top of motor to quiet it more. Take your engine cover off. Bet Same sound gets louder.
