Just think how many pints I put down. I'm retired. Permanent Vacation.

FDHog,

Congrats on retirement sir! Enjoy the pints in good health.

Post USMA, I retired from the Army after 21 yrs, but was only 43 at the time—far too young to hang it up (plus I’d have driven myself and my wife crazy being around the house). Enjoying a second career and finally putting my mech & aero degrees to work.

Is it common to see a post installed to protect a water heater in your area? Around here if you see a jack post in a garage it's because it's supporting something from above.

Smurf,

Agreed sir, definitely first world problems along with griping about minor Raptor quirks.

Garage wise, when we built our current home—the ONLY feature I told my wife I wanted was a massive garage for cars & RV garage. Everything else could be built/done as she wanted. Priorities.

Measure once cuss twice...comes from not having an engineering background other than staying in a few too many HI Express (and other lower level establishments).
Like Smurfslayer I grabbed a tape measure and the one AK Amber left in my fridge and started "evaluating".
2018 Super Crew is: 234", 6'4" tall, standard single car garage...looks tiny....hmmm.
Redneck methodology notwithstanding I quickly deduced that "The Beast" would clear the opening, barely.
With no witnesses, 802A front camera functioning I began the slow crawl into the man cave. With the grumble of the 3.5HO the only sound (no scraping noises) voila' mission success! Sierra Hotel!
(Pretty freaking good)

Size in this case (and most every other) indeed matters!
:)

Time to add-on to the garage, I just added 40' to my garage and now its 100' deep with front and back 14' high doors, so not going to have to squeeze into my new garage! But if i was you I would test drive it to your garage and test fit it, simple fix...

Mine lives outside....it's just a truck. I would never sacrifice the interior space of the SCREW for parking in a garage. Just my $.02

Yessir, fully agree, trucks should (mine too) spend a lot of time outside.
However comma, like everything else in TX, the frequent hailstones falling from thunderclouds, are big...

And leave big dents...
