I found this a few months ago but never decided to go forward with it. I Googled some pictures of it installed back then and here recently prior to ordering but surprisingly no one has installed one of these on a F-150 or Raptor, least that have posted pictures of it. Last weekend I decided to give it a shot, heck for $25 shipped it was worth a shot.
Red LED Lo Glow Light Assessory for Your 9" Ford Emblem Badge | eBay
I had previously painted my bezel same gray color as my stock bumper and the emblem just black and added my own gloss white vinyl emblem over it. Wasn't easy to get back apart, I had epoxied it together but with some heat from the heat gun I was able to get it back apart.
You do have to modify the stock bezel and oval to fit this illuminated oval. You have to cut it down so the Lo-Glow will fit on top of it and cut down the tabs on the stock oval so it will fit flush. No big deal, used my Dremel with a cutoff wheel to get stuff level.
I wired it up with my driver's side running light wires for the stock tail light. The purple wire is positive and the black wire is negative. Both have a stripe on them, but I don't remember what color the stripe is. Just test with multimeter to verify. I stripped them back and soldered a pair of new wires to them, wrapped in electrical tape and put some heat shrink on them. Fed it under the bumper, then with the wires that go to the tailgate for the reverse camera. Heat shrinked it to keep everything safe and fed it back through where the emblem holes are at. Soldered it to the wires from the Lo-Glow board, wrapped with electrical tape and heat shrinked them.
After testing everything to verify it works, I just heated it up with the heat gun since it's cold outside and make sure I had good adhesion. Pictures that follow should make my confusion thread a lot easier to follow, I tried to take as many as possible but forgot to take some where I tied into the driver's side tail light.
I'm fairly pleased with it. I have yet to see at night and will follow up with some night time pictures, but seems to disperse the light decently.... it could have done a better job at dispersing the light IMO but honestly looks better than I anticipated it would. I thought I'd notice the increase between bezel and oval with the Lo-Glow board, but I really don't. It's not even noticeable, which is surprising.
