With a 2019 you are also getting new shocks (which should be better in every situation), trail control, and a color you prefer. You'll lose a bit of money, but I would say trade up in your case.

Trading in you w ill ose money for sure. No matter what "creative accounting" you use. Just wrap it and then it is unique. I have a 18 leadfoot, and there are many others, but none looks like mine! Add mods that make it unique and then who cares, and all the other guys with the same colors wish they had YOUR truck.
