The other thing to think about with the CAT is that it is HEAVY, 90 pounds. The Eagle 3T is 60 pounds. The 2T is 52 pounds, per their website. That’s a big difference. Maybe not so bad for the garage but lugging that thing in and out of the bed would be a pain in the a$$.

I used the Pro Eagle mounting plate with the JDS mounting plate which uses the existing bed mount holes. The built right side plates are what you see the tools attached to! image.jpgimage.jpg

Hey, a quick heads-up for anyone still interested in the Pro Eagle jacks. Just got an email from them, their Black Friday Sale, 20% off anything. That's not too bad!

So I have until noon to figure out if I go 2T or 3T. Pressure is on lol.
2 ton is all you need. Especially if you need the room on off road trips. I'm sure the 3 ton is epic but it doesn't do anything more than the 2 ton can do and the size and weight are much more. I think you get an extra 2" of jack height. Maybe if you also have a dune buggy?

Yeah I went with 2 Ton. No need for the extra 16 pounds and size since I’ll be keeping it in the bed for recovery.
