Unfortunately, yes, it barely taps it. I thought it was clear (eye balled it) and any amount of pressure on the gate taps the gate on the rack. I ended up having to PDR out a dent and just don’t open it with the rack attached. You could probably use a 6” extension and clear it with no issues.

Wait... that happened with the 1up? Never mind I see you don’t have a 1up. Time to buy one!!

I just got rid of my Kuat for one of these. Like having the bike in the bed. It was a kickstarter early this year.

did you use cargo mounting holes to install the crossbar, or did you use the hanger cross bar option?
