the problem is the exhaust too close to the wheels might result in enough heat to melt the carbon rims... I couldn't really see clear but looks like the rack is pretty close at the same height at the rack or close, not only a raptor problem of course!
have seen some pretty crazy pictures on bike forums about this issue in general
I believe he was stating that this is a problem with the Kuat, which it definitely is. I test fit one on my Gen2 and was clearly going to be an issue. My bike shop has had reports of the Kuat trays melting as well.It does not. The 1up rack puts bikes above the exhaust. Zero issues
I was looking for a solution for this as well and ended up with this as it fit my needs best. Its the Undercover Ridgelander with the Rhino Rack accessory kit.

I second this!!!! No comparison. It is solid “no rocking whatsoever” trays are angled up above the exhaust and it’s made of quality aluminum. All other racks are subpar comparatively. The best bike rack https://www.1up-usa.com
when lay down the tail gate, does it tough the rack? if so, how do you solve the problem ?
Unfortunately, yes, it barely taps it. I thought it was clear (eye balled it) and any amount of pressure on the gate taps the gate on the rack. I ended up having to PDR out a dent and just don’t open it with the rack attached. You could probably use a 6” extension and clear it with no issues.
