Hope it solves the issue, does it sound ok with just the borla s type? Or do u need the down pipe and everything, seems like it's alittle to much so far. I just want to buy 1 muffler system and be done

The downpipe is made by kooks, and the muffler is Borla. It's a mix for sure, maybe Stainlessworks is the best choice if you don't want to run into the shit I'm going through now, but I'm quite certain this will work well maybe even better.

Okay got a new tune today and also twister race mufflers. I'm getting them put on tomorrow. I tried holding them up to the tailpipes while my wife revved the truck and they seem to be the answer I've been looking for. Will know more tomorrow.

So what's the problem with it the way it is? Too raspy? Or loud?

I wonder how it would be with just the kooks dp connected to stock exhaust system

The problem is the Borla was designed for the factory downpipe. The Kooks completely wrecks the sound by making it way too loud under load and way too raspy.

Tomorrow I hope it'll be solved. Will do video after.

Borla did not design a muffler specific to this engine. This is the same muffler they use in all their systems.

Got my Borla S-Type installed today. It's probably at the max loudness I would want it to be but I like it!

I can't imagine having the Atak on there or the kooks haha

Love the more aggressive sound over stock for sure!

Bigtime. 100x better. Deep throaty sound, but not as loud as the S-Type alone.

Bottom line is the S-Type with Kooks and these twister resonators works out really well.

So I'll need more time with it to make an overall performance verdict.
