I bought 3 cases of this oil the last time it was on sale in different weights for all my vehicles. Can't beat the price and I'm hoping because Costco put their name on it, it's decent oil.

watch the video's project farm on you tube he checks just about them all in like a sweet 16 battle pennsoil, mobil 1, royal purple, and a bunch more final 2 were Amsoil and pennsoil and amsoil won, been running Amsoil in my truck and Viper, and use the WALMART full synthetic in my work car, I think the syntec was in the top 5 ahead of a lot of the big boys, he shows you a lot of info so no guessing required, project farm tests a lot of things and takes no money from anyone (over a million subscribers) loved the one on car betteries the cheapo one was the best!!

Anything must be better than what your dealer puts in. I would trust any oil over dealer oil/change. check the viscosity when you pour it. I used to be able to tell good oil from cheap just by pouring it. John Deere oil that had additives like detergent .. soap ... was 10 times better than any other oil for tractors combines ect. u get the idea.

Yes your correct and another reason why I switched from Mobile One to Penzoil Full Synthetic oil.

Mainly because FordTechMakuloco stated that is the only oil he would run in a 3.5 liter EcoBoost engine, good enough for me.

He really knows he stuff, not to say other oils aren't just as good or better but I'll stick with Penzoil for now.

Curious to know who private labels this stuff as well
The oil is manufactured by Warren Distribution.

I received my Blackstone test kit a few weeks ago and I’m anxious to see how this stuff does. Now I’m just waiting for my mileage to rack up... damn COVID.

I had been using Valvoline for years.....years ago, but now let the dealers change oil....just not worth it at 64 years old to crawl under there and I can afford it.

With that said, I worked as mechanic for about five years, before I started my career elsewhere. You could always tell an engine that ran Penzoil. It was ALWAYS loaded with sludge. Again, this was 40 years ago. It's funny to now hear people recommending it. Back then, I wouldn't put Penzoil in a lawnmower.

Couldn't agree more as I would have never used Penzoil back in the day but times change as do oils.

I still won’t tolerate Penzoil...known too many mechanics who were VIOLENTLY opposed to it. I won’t use dealers or shops where they use it as their house oil either.

Always do my own oil changes with Castrol full synthetic but considering going to Amsoil for my differential oil changes...

Any updates to this or still waiting on enough mileage to conduct a test? Just picked up my '19 and it had a Motorcraft synthetic blend oil change just before I bought it around 11k miles so looking at switching to a full synthetic at 15k miles. I hit up Costco regularly and would entertain this option if it could be proven from testing that it's legit when compared with Amsoil or the full syn. Pennsoil.

Just need to find a good source of Motorcraft filters either online or through one of my local dealerships pending their prices.
