Yikes. Rather than install extra tracking and fuel pump shutoff that could potentially dangerously stall your truck while it’s moving, maybe a solution could simply be a Faraday case for the key that blocks RFID signal? The hassle of opening the key case to start the truck is probably the same as activating/deactivating fuel pump each time you go in and out of the truck.

Something like this:

Faraday Cage Key fob Protector Box, Luxury Key Fob Bag, Car Key Safe Box RFID Signal Blocker Pouch & Anti-Theft Case Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081JLGC1R/?tag=fordraptorforum-20

After reading this i'm keeping my keys in the microwave . Other Fob is in the gunsafe . Thinking of wiring a relay into neutral safety switch or interrupt start switch signal to ecm, and wiring to one of the Aux switches in off position. You will have to flip on one aux switch to on position to start truck with start button . That way you remote start should still work. Also looking at the door handle when you pull it out to open the entire cylinder is exposed channel locks or vise grips can be used to rotate and break lock to open door. You would think things get better with technology.

The door handle is also a major weakness , as you mentioned cylinder is fully exposed . There is some artisanal tools being used to pry it open already

Not sure how the kill switch would dangerously do anything unless I manually toggle the switch while driving. Unless you are never planning on using your fob to open your door I don’t see how that helps. The second you press to lock your doors they can get your signal

Ok so now you’re talking more than just the proximity sensor. Someone would have to time it just right to catch the signal when you remove the key from the key case. And yeah I’m afraid of an accidental flip of the switch that could stall the engine.

Someone with a tow truck or wheel dolly could easily take your truck without even opening it or starting it up. You can’t stop a determined thief.

Having your sense of security and safety violated causes all sorts of trauma. I installed dash cams on all of my cars after dealing with so many car accident issues (at work).

I’m thinking of getting the Drone Mobile installed in the truck. It does everything Ford Pass does, but its notifications time is much faster (almost instant) and it can tell you whether your car is unlocked or if any of the doors are open. I have it on my Benz.

As I explained what happens to me was when I locked the door they intercepted my signal and used it to open my door.

Where I have the kill switch placed it would be impossible to accidentally press it.

i agrée you can’t full
Proof your car but I know have much more protection then I did. The RFID tracker and the kill switch are in my opinion our best options in terms of price and maintenance free.

your app seems cool is
It a monthly thing?

Did the guy confess? I’m interested in knowing how you came to that conclusion.

It’s $5/mo for Drone Mobile, which I think is fair since the device is connected to Drone via LTE service (Verizon or AT&T depending on the model you get). It also seems plug and play for the F-150, but I need to call the seller company to confirm.
