Key Fob DRL option?

Guys,
Newbie tech question on factory lighting. Pardon my ignorance but...
Smurfslayer and others have used software to change their DRLs from the upper headlights to the parking lights.
So...
One of my very few gripes with this A**Kicking Truck is the lighting.
Why?
1. Don't like parking lights coming on when I open a door.
2. Don't like upper headlights as DRLs. And only selectable in auto headlight switch setting.
3. Don't really like parking lights as a DRLs either.

I am looking seriously at aftermarket add on lights as AUX switch DRLs...

Which leads me to my question:
When you lock the truck with the key fob, the Amber LED bars and turn signal lights illuminate but no others.
Is there a way to reset the DRLs to the door lock/unlock lights?

FORSCAN. you can program all of that

you can have parking lights or all lights off when opening a door
you can configure DRL to be pretty much whatever you want
You can turn off parking lights as drls.
