Also might want to consider whether the new exhaust will pass emission inspection if they have them in your area.

Just as a reference for pricing this is from the ford online parts catalog.

Depends on your plans for the truck. i have gone through cars every two years for the past 14 years. I buy them, mod them, then drive them for two years. At the end of that i take the aftermarket parts off, and trade the stock car in on a different one. Then I sell all of the aftermarket parts. It is fun to do. I get new cars all of the time and get to see what they are able to do. Dealers like stock cars on trade better than modded ones. Besides, you get more for the aftermarket parts this way as well.
If you plan on keeping the truck, not much use in keeping it is there?

bingo. I do the same thing. if you trade, dealers could care less if you have $75,000 worth of stuff on your truck, it won't matter in the deal. I ALWAYS go back to stock on trade, sell (or use) anything I can on next ride, or set aside, or sell to guys on forums (I sold my aftermarket bumpers, shocks, wheels tires, etc all on this forum to fellow members).

Keep the OEM stuff, making a few bucks from it will pale in comparison if you need it back.
