I don't have a Raptor yet but I got to test drive one today and all I can say is that I'm absolutely hooked.

As a previous owner of a 1982 Ford Bronco I put 250K miles on and a 2006 Super Duty Diesel I'm ready to buy another Ford truck.

I started looking around and kept running across mention of the Raptor so I did some googling and after a couple days of looking at YouTube videos of Raptors I finally got interested enough to go look at and test drive one.

Never should have done that because now I'm hooked and have to have one.

Just starting my research and wouldn't mind a used one but I usually buy NEW 4wd vehicles because of the potential for getting one that's been rode hard and put away wet.

Are you sure it’s a Raptor? It’s not this is it?

You can use this as your provisional FRF profile pic until we see some truck pictures ;-)

Y'all are brutal... Note the time stamp of my message.... Here are some crappy pics I forgot I took at the dealership as I was about to take possession of my new Raptor.

Hopefully I'll get the time to take some more pics this weekend that are better.

I've struggled a bit with all the technology but all in all I'm thrilled with my new truck. It's the third new truck I've purchased in my lifetime and so far my favorite.

I'm desperately in need of a good toolbox now. I can't stand a pickup without a toolbox. Anybody have any ideas or pics of good ones?

If you want a crossover, I like the low-profile black aluminum ones like on my work truck from UWC, highly recommend:

I debated one in my Raptor for a long time, including the chest type using the front 4 bed bolts, and ultimately decided I didn't need it (and really didn't need it coming loose and flying around back there, which is why you don't see many on here). Anyway, to each his own, great lucking truck!

Go to a backflip tonneau and get a bakbox. Will give you a suspended tool box with full bed usage. Best investment I ever made.
