Long time lurker. Finally purchased a 2012 Silver SuperCrew last weekend in Austin from a dealer and immediately drove it on a 2000 mile round trip to Durango, CO.
Truck has an LED light bar behind the front grill and an undercover bed cover. Traded in a 2004 Silverado Z71 with 102k miles.
Looked at buying new but this one was half the price of a new one and really has everything I wanted.
Noticed some light rattling from the front suspension. It probably also needs a shock rebuild as it has 61k miles...so the first $$$ spent will be getting that taken care of.
Is there anyone on the forum who can run VIN's to see what work and recalls have been taken care of at the dealer? I'd like to know more history about the truck if possible.
