I have one.

I have the pedal max too.

They both work as advertised. Few take home points.

That horsepower figure is given for the largest increase over the stock curve. It's not a 66 horsepower PEAK horsepower increase. I think it happens somewhere lower in the RPM curve. I think the peak difference is more like 40. Still awesome.

The pedal max you need to buy the control knob. Truck is WAY too jerky and it needs to be turned down to around 40 percent. Once you dial it in though you'd never go back to stock

That's good info. IMO having the largest increase in HP & TQ lower in the curve is better for my use. I'm not going to going WOT for long stretches.

Looking forward to giving it a shot.

Well the boost max showed up yesterday. Opened the box and got everything sorted out. Instal is pretty straightforward. 1.Disconnect negative terminal, I skipped.
2. Pull engine cover off, two nuts.
3. Unplug map sensor, rear of manifold, and plug the BM harness connection into the sensor and then plug in the factory connection into BM harness.
3. Locate the TIP sensors and unplug the factory connection and plug in the BM connection then plug the factory connection into the BM harness.
4. Plug in the Boos Max micro processor into the BM harness and secure.
5. Run the last connection along the firewall over to the drivers side and snake through the firewall into cabin.
6. Disconnect peddle position sensor connection and plug factory connection into BM harness and BM connection back into the peddle position sensor.
7. Plug the tuning knob into the BM harness and secure wherever you like. I tucked it under dash and out of site.

Check the work, secure all the wire with zip ties , replace engine cover, remove tools prior shutting hood, if you didn't skip step one, hook up negative terminal. Start engine and go drive.

It's raining here today but the short drive I went on had the boost gauge pinned at 20lbs and the truck feels much more responsive and seems to pull harder. So my butt dyno says it's an improvement.

I'm sure my steps are not the same as the instructions but you get the idea.

what was the boost before the boostmax?

18 max is what the truck is rated at but hard to tell as it's a gauge and not actually a number reading. Haven't had time to change settings in forescan

Anyone else running JMS BoostMax?

This article:
http://www.offroadxtreme.com/engine...in-over-65-horsepower-on-a-2017-f-150-raptor/

says, "Not only do these products improve performance without recalibrating the factory programming, they seem to be accepted by dealers as viable modifications. Via a partnership with Roush Yates, the JMS products are sold directly through Ford dealerships around the country."

Seems like having a dealer install the BoostMax and PedalMax would be better in terms of warranty concerns. Thoughts?

It works.

Both do. I ran them up until yesterday. I just sold the revised one to another forum member because I changed to a 5 star tune.

The combination makes for some REALLY Snappy power. I'm not sure if it makes more, less or the same power as the tune I have because it's just very different in feel.

Thanks. Can you tell me/us about your 5 Star Tune - what you have and how you like it? (why'd you change to 5 Star Tune?)

Thanks
