I just installed the JLT on mine and was surprised in how much oil it collected in short order. Would it be beneficial to have a unit on the drivers side as well?

I'll let y'all know when I get some miles on her. If people are going to keep buying and driving these POS Volvo trucks, I'll never have to worry about having enough work to find. In fact, if I get a sec before I hop in my rig tomorrow, I'll pull the both of them to see if it was worth buying them for both sides. I haven't even gone through a tank of fuel yet since I did the install. She's my weekend pleasure cruiser if I actually get a second to myself on the weekends. Plus summer time is coming. Got two bikes to ride as well. There's never enough time in a day to get done what I need to get done.

What do you guys about this mod even if your doing very little offroad? And I only have 250 miles on her so far, but I do drive my vehicles hard. Im about to pull the trigger on one, especially after seeing your findings Greg. Definitely some good preventative maintenance.

I removed my stock lines at 3200 miles (and I have babied my truck so far) and oil was dripping out of my stock lines.

I should point out that JLT (Johnny Lightning) is very well known in the Lightning community that I came from for making quality stuff at a fair price. I ordered my oil sep yesterday. This is not a mod just for off roading - whenever you are moderatly hard on the throttle and back off, oil is drawn into the intake system due to the increased vacuum making YUK all over the intake system. I put one on my wife's GT500 within a week after we got it brand new.
You can read more about it on JLT's website. Quick mod - maybe 5 minutes & no tools required for $119.00
Also be aware that if your truck is like mine and has miles on it you should consider using some Sea Foam to get all that nasty stuff out of the intake.
Great product that has been around for years - start the motor & pull off the vacuum line to the power brake booster (put your finger over the end quickly) and then allow it to suck about 1/2 can of Sea Foam into the engine. Shut it off for about 3 minutes, restart and drive it like you stole it.
Be prepared for a genuine John Force grade burnout as the motot spews all the nasties out the back.
