This is Ford Sync/Wi-Fi hotspot module. The antenna is external, which is your shark fin on the roof.

Pink connector - Ford Sync
Yellow connector - WiFi hotspot

You can move the module anywhere you like, but be sure to use the same screws as they act as ground on the module.
