I have a big dumb question: you mention 47 lb injectors, other installers mention 60 lb injectors, I'm lost when it comes to this stuff, trying to compare apples to oranges I guess. I'm slowly preparing my raptor for a supercharger with new tires and big ass brakes, just on the fence with who to go with. I don't understand the different injectors, etc. Please, somebody clarify this for me. Trying to do as much homework as possible. I want to do it right when I get my whipple and I want it to last.

What is the expected engine life with this high hp production ? Meaning could a guy run this to 200,000 miles? What maintenance does this blower require over time? How about Pistons, rings, rods or any thing else you need to swap for stronger?

Any transmission upgrades?

What's the total weight gain?

Thank you!

I just hit 64k miles on my 2013 Raptor with damn near the exact same setup. Knock on wood, No issues yet. My foot does seem to be a tad bit heavier now days lol.

The RAPTORS are a blast to drive supercharged. Oh my lord, THE WHIPPLE WHINE IS THE BEST!

Don't know about the rest of the crowd here, but I would love to see some dyno videos!!! Numbers are good but I am here to tell you, VIDEOS sell. Maybe with a JIMII/JIMIII narrator voice over.

Any more advice, I will need a consultation fee (raptor parts) lol!!

*** GREAT JOB. COMPETITION BRINGS THE BEST OUT OF US ***

shhhhh..... someone should tell SVC that JDM has just won round 2 :mwah1:!!!!

Corona good question. We use the 47# fuel injectors simply because these are what we have most often tuned our Supercharger packages with. The 47# fuel injector by Ford Racing part # M-9593-LU47 are adequate up to 700-750 HP. When I say HP I mean at the engine. On the dyno we have made as much as 590 RWHP with a Raptor, which is about 750 HP at the engine and the 47# injectors were about tapped out hitting around 90% duty cycle. You can stretch them to make a lot more. On a GT500 we've seen people support 750 RWHP on the 47# injectors...but we have to deal with the load and weight of a Raptor here so we don't want to run them to the max. Ideally you want to keep your fuel injectors around 80-85% of their max ability, now this is at a constant. When your idling, cruising, even applying moderate throttle, you are not making near 700 HP. Your well under that. This only applys to WOT (Wide Open throttle) So if your running down the highway trying to reach Maximum speed at wide open throttle, making 750 HP (almost 600 RWHP) you might want to consider upgrading to a bigger injector than a 47#.

The 60 lb injectors were first used in the Whipple kit when they released them a few years back. Whipple called them 63#s but they were just 60lb injectors from the same distributor we get them from. These were used in our early edition of the JDM 650 kit, but over the years we have been able to better tune the Raptors for fuel economy, performance, and drive-ability compared to the 60#s. Even Whipple dropped them and replaced their kits with 47#s.

For what 99% of Raptor owners running Supercharged are doing, 47#s are more then enough. If your that 1%er who is going balls out, we can supply 60#, 80#, and id1000 or id1300 injectors as well as tune for them!

Anything is possible but unbelievably, these are safe power numbers. The fuel system, engine, and drivetrain can support this sort of power. The only thing is with this much power wheel hop becomes an issue. Traction bars (which limit off-road abilities) or Heavy Duty Leaf springs like the Deavers are suggested to stop wheel hop or axle wrap.

If you keep proper maintenance and premium fuel 91/93 in the tank you will be fine. There are many factory supercharged options now a days showing you even big names like Ford, Dodge:crazy:, and Chevy:baby: + more that agree! Once you drive a Supercharged vehicle you will never want to drive anything else.

what does the normal heat exchanger look like? leave enough room for my 40" LED bar?

This is the standard HE and the old tank setup. Any bar behind the grill is a tight fit or will not fit with the HE and dual fan setup.

I'm loving this FRPP Pillar!!!
Is it a direct replacement from the original?

Question, what is that hose running over the top of the compressor?

That is how we route the fuel rail cross over. We sell the gauges and Pillar, let me know if your interested!

Thanks glad to help, we are always confident in what we sell. With hundreds of Raptors tuned and Supercharged we can easily say that!
