I talked to my dealer/sales manager regarding COVP yesterday and he told me it does not apply to Raptor so go figure. I think I’m gonna call or email Ford directly to find out.

Keep me posted on that! lolI talked to my dealer/sales manager regarding COVP yesterday and he told me it does not apply to Raptor so go figure. I think I’m gonna call or email Ford directly to find out.
The weird thing is, if it’s not applying to Raptors how are some people having COVP order acceptance letters for Raptors? That is the confusing part.I talked to my dealer/sales manager regarding COVP yesterday and he told me it does not apply to Raptor so go figure. ur spot on!It is very confusing because if in fact this program bypasses dealer allocation and expedites a retail order then every dealer would use it to make more sales. Am I missing something here?
I will be calling the sales manager of the dealership that placed me order yesterday. After talking to a close friend who has ordered several specialty vehicles in the past from ford he has confirmed that CVOP should not apply to specialty vehicles. So I will be calling and speaking to someone above my salesman that should know for sure and figuring out how they were able to place an order. It is very confusing because if in fact this program bypasses dealer allocation and expedites a retail order then every dealer would use it to make more sales. My conspiracy theory. The only thing that I can think of is that couple of letters that are posted on here are for f150. They don’t say f150 Raptor on the letter. I know Raptor is a f150 but some ding **** at Ford approves the request as a non specialty f150 but the actual order in the system is for a f150 Raptor. So that’s how some dealers could work the system and get an advantage. I probably don’t make any sense. Same position with regards to TRD Pro. No idea on either, LOL! Ordered Raptor 12/31/21, no VIN yet. No word on Pro deposit last summer.I asked my dealer this morning if it’s reasonable to assume that I will have a truck this summer and he couldn’t even confirm that. He just said with the supply issues it’s a crap shoot. I just started this journey and I’m already getting discouraged. I know there are plenty of guys on this forum that started long before me and still in no man’s land. Yikes?! This sucks. I also have an order for a Trd pro but Toyota has really effed up the Trd pro. I want a badass Raptor.
