Raptors are not easily obtainable mostly due to the price and availability - IE they're not like a Honda Civic where any 16 year old can get one. So it's safe to say most of the forum goers here are older and/or have rich parents. Yet most of them act like they're 16.

There are/have been plenty of 6 cylinder iconic cars.... Let's be honest, it's not the "V" in the v6 that bothers you, it's the "6". You want 8 cylinders.

First of all you are paraphrasing me for the sake of your argument, I said iconic v6 supercars. The reason that matters is because those are no holds barred, spare no expense, optimal performance vehicles and they speak to the legitimacy of certain platforms as performance workhorse. Secondly, duh it's not the v that bothers me, there are plenty of v configured motors that kill, did you proof read that statement? Third, name them, please.

All you know about the Gen2 is what Ford has put out in marketing material and you made it obvious as ever you don't know jack shit about the Gen1.

Are you afraid that it's going to be better? Is that what all this is about? That the Gen I guys think it's better but they don't want it to be? So they strike out at those who do? What is the psychological term for that? It's a condition of some sort.

If I wanted a smaller displacement motor with less cylinders in a truck I would bought Japanese, they've already pretty well perfected that genre of motor. Funny thing is that even the Japanese companies create v8s for a number of their high end lines like Lexus and Infiniti. Hell, look at the lfa that went with a high revving v10.
