I'm well aware, that's been addressed over and over again, that was a group driving beyond the limits of their trucks without bumps for the most part. bump kits and or the 13" frame, pretty safe.

Yeah never had an issue with my 13' that wasn't from overdriving.

Did you guys know that I'll be home next week? It seems relevant to the conversation.

Right on buddy get out of that sand box and come play in one here in your homeland with your Raptor.

oh look another drama thread has been started about a truck that hasn't been released yet, has only information being revealed on paper, and is being said to be better than the gen 1 as a sales pitch that is a hook line and sinker for salesman... interesting how this drama caries on so much..

I'm not making it drama. You guys keep trying to discount a bunch of things you don't like about the Gen II

@Randy M - the new strengthened frame is just that, strengthened. It'll still bend. That's why all of the off-road trucks have bump stops - something that 90% of us add-on as one of the first few mods. It would be cool if they were factory installed.

Anything will bend or break given enough force. Hameedi mentioned that the frame is stronger than the last one. Sounds to me that the new frame will be stronger than the old one. He has no reason to lie about it.

Hameedi being the head of the project says nothing about rather he'd spew lies about the new motor, Ford is pushing the ecoboost across all platforms, look at the GT. The bottom line is that if Ford tells Hameedi to hype the eb he is going to hype the eb. As for bendy frames, they upgraded in 13 as well, I beat the **** out of mine and haven't bent my frame yet, I think you're exaggerating a problem that has already been addressed by revisions and upgrades.

Oh I think he has a lot to say about the project. He's the one who would know about it. So you think he's spewing lies when says the engine is much better and will blow away the old V8? How do you think that would play out when the truck is released lol.

And I'm not exaggerating a bending frame problem. However, if there wasn't a problem or weakness of some sort, they wouldn't have taken the steps to improve the new Gen II frame.

I gotta tell you guys, if this site doesn't start embracing the next model, in a few years any posts here are going to be sparse.

Please share where I said he was lying? All I was saying is that the way these trucks are driven, they will still bend. Which is why, I stated, it would be cool to have factory bump stops.

It was a question, not an accusation. Guys are really defensive here.
