Are you this bored with yourself that you have dedicated the entire week to trolling the **** out of the Gen 2 boards? Kinda feel bad for you man.

It's not my fault you guys keep quoting me. I'm not left alone here. If you don't like the '17 nor what I say about it that's not my fault.

That's just some friendly hyperbole and obviously not meant to be literal.. a gt-r blows a raptor away, 40 or 50 hp on a 3ton truck will make a negligible difference at most. For sure close enough driver error would play a part.

Hameedi is the head of the Raptor project as far as I know. It's his job to make it better. if he was spewing lies he'd get fired by Ford.

I do like the new heavy duty frame just for the raptor.

Do you not have the "power" to do something about it?

New heavy duty frame is a great upgrade given the vids we've seen of the Gen I bending.

As far as ne being banned? For what, stating my opinion in the '17 board, about the new '17 Raptor? I think it's better given the research I've done on it, and I'll be ordering one.

Well its never been our style to be ban happy. That being said, a scenario such as this is typically in the hands of our feather plucking leader.

Not sure what scenario this is to examine, whether or not I should be banned for expressing my opinion.

But he loves mustangs too

How should that matter. What should matter is whether or not I've attacked someone. Simply disagreeing and backing it up with facts is not grounds to ban imo.

oh look another drama thread has been started about a truck that hasn't been released yet, has only information being revealed on paper, and is being said to be better than the gen 1 as a sales pitch that is a hook line and sinker for salesman... interesting how this drama caries on so much..

ok watched the video so it's a 5.0 EB has to be for as confident as he sounded on the more power and torque in all. or perhaps it's a V8 EB but id think ford would weight with that

@Randy M - the new strengthened frame is just that, strengthened. It'll still bend. That's why all of the off-road trucks have bump stops - something that 90% of us add-on as one of the first few mods. It would be cool if they were factory installed.

Hameedi being the head of the project says nothing about rather he'd spew lies about the new motor, Ford is pushing the ecoboost across all platforms, look at the GT. The bottom line is that if Ford tells Hameedi to hype the eb he is going to hype the eb. As for bendy frames, they upgraded in 13 as well, I beat the **** out of mine and haven't bent my frame yet, I think you're exaggerating a problem that has already been addressed by revisions and upgrades.

He's quoting that ************* Jalopnik article that they wrote when like 3 owners bent their frames driving their Raptors like trophy trucks.

Are Ford Raptor frames too weak for off-roading?

I'm well aware, that's been addressed over and over again, that was a group driving beyond the limits of their trucks without bumps for the most part. bump kits and or the 13" frame, pretty safe.

Did you guys know that I'll be home next week? It seems relevant to the conversation.

Woohoo! Now send me my awesome flag and certificate. What display do I need to get again?
