Jack Stands - safe way to jack the beast up

Hey All, really appreciate all the feedback. I plan on picking up the on sale HFreight Super Duty Daytona Jack that goes up to 23 1/8 (yellow one that Gunmonkey has in pic) and get the 6T Jack stands unless they have the 12T’s in.

I’m planning on painting my brake calipers and will just do the rear and the front at different times instead of putting the whole thing up on Jacks and removing all wheels. The extra set of G2 caliper paint was only $37 at Stage 3 motor sports, by far the cheapest place I’ve found to get it and a lot cheaper than another pair of jack stands. There’s a bit of a time constraint once you mix the G2 paint so unless everything is ready at the same time, would have to have the extra can.

I have the low profile 3T Jack from HF 27"lift hight worked fine for me.

Good stands like the large 12t are a good way to go.

Do you have the model number or link for the HF floor jack that goes up to 27"?

I also bought the 3 ton, bright yellow jack from Harbor Freight. It works quite well for me and makes the job a lot easier than the small jack I used before that reguired blocks to jack up the front.

My suggestion is to buy a good professional jack stands like Lincoln,Snap on’s, Mac tools and the like. I been using my Snap on 2.5 ton stands for the last 15+ years with no problems. The bottom line is how much is your life worth?

My 2 post lift

Those are quite pricey but as long as they do everything you expected them to do it's all good. I paid about $3K for my 2 post lift.
