Here are some close up pics. If you look at your HF jack pad, take the rubber insert out and you will see four lips that hold it. The jack extension is beveled to fit perfectly in there and also has opposite lips so if you turn it a quarter turn, it locks in place under the lips on the pad.

My rubber broke and the lips were damaged. That is why I mentioned that I had to use a screwdriver to lift the lips open. (Geez this sounds bad).

I am getting two lift pads and was told the bottom screws out and if so, I plan on using it to replace the damaged one. Will post pics later when it arrives. It has shipped and supposed to be here on the 30th.

Follow-up: The additional order from Pro Eagle arrived today. @Chris's FX4

I first wanted to replace the lift pad on my existing 2ton since those lips where smashed. The Pro Eagle pad center hole is beveled and does not fit around the base. Figure I would buy a Dremel and fix this later.
BTW: the center pin on the Pro Eagle lift pad comes right out.

This is the HF one and how it fits.



As you can see the Pro Eagle needs to be bigger. You can screw the center bolt on it but then all the weight is on that edge. Hence why I would have to make the opening larger.


Because I want to use these two extensions on my 3ton steel jack and 2ton to be interchangable, I put the other lift pad on it, it fits as that is different without the inner upper lip but even screwed down all the way, its too loose. The center bolt is too long to snug up on it.

So wondering now how to make this work. I took the center bolt from the 2ton and it fits snug and solves the issue! As you see the bolt is not as long.



So I move the center bolt from the 3ton to the 2ton just to make sure it fits okay. Too long but expected that. But I was able to stack them by putting the HF pad on first and the Pro Eagle on top of it and it snugged down good.

Might revisit this of course.

Here is with the extensions and I noticed that you can stack them together too.




Overall happy with the Pro Eagle decision. Will probably sell my C4fabworks extension now. Last project is to see how I can make the jack mount I purchased can fit on the 2ton. Will post back when I have that done.

For those still following this thread, I just installed the Pro Eagle jack extension mount on the HF jack. Apparently the jack Pro Eagle sells has a hole to mount this. On the HF jack you just need to drill one hole (5/16") and use a 3/16 hex and 14mm to mount it. I tried both size extensions on it and both work without interfering with the jack operation. I will carry the other extension in my action packer as I have plenty of room.

Appreciate the info. It helped me decide to order the extensions also. Not sure if the Pro Eagle site is operational again or not. It wasn't when I tried so I ordered from a shop that carries their products.

I just drilled a 1 1/8" hole in the bottom of the extension and mounted it in place of the factory pad on my 2.5 ton.

I think it would be useful to start a list of jacks which the extension fits natively and which fit the floor pad that Pro Eagle sells without modification. I bought the extension a couple of months ago and it doesn't fit my HF Steel 3 ton as there are no lips for it to slide under so I have ordered the floor plate and will update if it fits. (Although it looks like I will need a shorter hex screw from RDFTS's earlier post. )
