they still cant figure it out?

if everything has been changed in the front and it sounds like it coming from the bottom then its prolly a rod bearing so it will prolly need a rebuild or reman. if the front cover is still off might as well drop the plastic oil pan and inspect the lower end. maybe even do a compression test

5.0 swap?!

That website appears to be helpful. The one posted above, I will call them to see if it comes with the new aged cam phasers.

Alright - diag suggest bad crankshaft.

FKING DAMN IT.

1. Tear engine down and rebuild -$7k
2. Pay for used middle mileage 3.5 eco, $3-4k, $2500 to install, STILL 7k.

Thoughts? Anyone close to MD that can do the install for less than $2500 or have access to good used low mileage engines? If the engine is coming out what else should I consider?
