Dude... that is legit. How have the values on the Viper's been lately? Still on the uptick for the Gen V? I never got to experience the V3, but the Blackwing sure is good.

I love my Raptor, but our Rivian R1S is the main character. Super capable off-road and in the snow, handles shockingly well on windy roads, lots of room, and vomit-inducingly fast (3.4 0-60). It's also almost exclusively powered by the sun, which is kinda neat. Nice not having another vehicle to take to the gas station seeing as how the Raptor takes 30+ gallons from empty.

R1S is technically my wife's vehicle, but I find myself driving it a lot unless I'm doing something truck-specific (e.g. hauling stuff around).

The Rivian does intrigue me. I had a Taycan for a bit and LOVED it until it got hit by a semi truck on the freeway. How is your range on it? Are there solar panels on the truck or are you just charging at home through your solar panels?

ooooh, the green is good. The Hellraisin purple gets my goat too. Really dig how dodge spread the widebody across the other models and not just the hellcat.

That is definitely the car I don't want to race for money.

Having owned a GT500 and GT350 I absolutely loved both. The GT350 from a drivers standpoint was very engaging and easy to drive at the limit. GT500 was a rocket that I could never find the limit of, but was very well sorted. I dont think you will go wrong with either if you decide to make that move.

Nice, yeah I would be happy with either but mostly it falls into wanting a manual or auto and how much HP/TQ I want. I've had a few but nothing as nice as those two. 96 Mystic, Procharged 02GT, 04 Mach1, Twin Screw 04 Cobra, 11 5.0, Procharged 15GT.

Definitely a good history of cars there. If you plan to street drive more than a road course, then the GT500 is probably more fun. On the track, I’d take the GT350

Taycan's are super fun--bummer about yours hopefully it was a minor thing and didn't cause any personal injury.

Official range is 370mi (with 20" A/T tires), but projected is usually around 375-380mi with relaxed driving (A/C on, 70-74mph on highway and 5mph over limit on city streets). Way better than the Tesla it replaced that promised some amount of range, but got nowhere close to it ever. I prefer Rivian's "under promise over deliver" approach.

Charging it at home during the day with solar panel output covering all of the charging almost 9 months of the year.

I have been shooting a couple cars around the shop and noticed the Raptor often lurking in the background. Got me to thinking if the Raptor is the main character or supporting cast for most of you?

I would probably say the Raptor is the main character through the winter/ and hot summer months, but takes a back seat in the spring/fall.

Got some lingering pain, but could have been worse for sure. I hope to be in another EV for daily duties eventually. The Rivian truck seems like the best of both worlds with utility and gas savings.

Well, I really like the Blackwing. It checks a lot of boxes in terms of fun, practicality, and looks. This is my second one and I would keep it long term if not for my 911. It is not a car I have heard many people say they are disappointed with.

However, I would caution against getting a low spec car. GM does not make it easy to add options later. If you get one, get it with everything you want. I will be putting mine up for sale soon as it is a 120th anniversary model with all the goodies
