I wouldn’t hesitate for a gen3. I placed an order in January for MSRP. Felt solid and happy as the price has gone up 3 times since my order was placed and I’m price protected. 9 months in and no movement from ford (I recently got a email from ford stating they are sorry for the delay lol)

In April I got a bug in my butt and called 45+ dealers asking about their incoming raptors but all were spoken for. In May, a dealer local to me called me about a code orange that just came in. Everything but the color was my spec and they were selling at MSRP. I jumped on it. Come to find out, it was priced wrong and it was to be 15k over MSRP for the 37 package. Dealer kept their word and I got it for MSRP that day.

I still have my 37 AMB in order And still no word or Movement on that order.

If you can find one on the lot, and with your specs for MSRP, buy it fast.

I just drove my gen3 home after flying from Phx to North Dakota to buy one. It had 400 miles on it so I basically bought it for just under MSRP if you include all the taxes and fees he paid for it. He didn’t like the 37 and I had one on order and the only difference was the color. I absolutely love it and didn’t even test drive it since it was basically new driven from the dealership to his small town. I FaceTimed him and flew up to make the deal. Crazy that I would do that for a vehicle but after understanding the market for the past year of trying to get one, I had to. They are still asking anywhere from 15k to 25k here in AZ and any place with MSRP has a 200 long list that you can’t buy your way to the top with (I tried).

I still would have paid 15k above sticker on my order if it was ever going to be built. Especially after driving this one. Technically has 10k of equity but it doesn’t matter because I’m only selling if I can get the R which is an even smaller pipe dream. Love my truck!

MSRP is a terrible deal. Give me the salespersons name and phone number.
I will give them a call and get this straightened out immediately !
Lol I should have mentioned it was a private party seller not the dealer who drove it 400 miles home and decided he didn’t want it. A dealership would never these days… technically second owner even though it’s 3 weeks old.

How’s you find it?
Actually found it on this forum! The guy didn’t have the required posts so it was taken down but his number was on there. I got the link from the daily emails the forum sends you. I texted him and after a FaceTime and some back and forth on him being a legit seller, I flew out to buy it. Always purchased my Fords at dealerships outside of my first two cheap Maximas on Craigslist.
