There will be fewer available with COVID. The economy is bouncing back so demand and low supply = high prices.

Whats crazy is there are still a # of 19's out there.

Every dealership I dealt with on the West coast was unwilling to deal (reasonably). I ended up getting mine in Texas. I also have a friend who ordered one from the midwest and the dealership had it shipped to the dealership closest to him in Washington state. Had never heard of that before!

I don't think you guys understand just how bad it is here in California for the raptor market.

Oh, we understand. What we don't understand is why Cali Raptor buyers buy in state when it's sofa king easy to buy elsewhere. Stupidity? Laziness? Fear? Or maybe saving $20k on a $80k purchase isn't worth it when you have more money than sense.

I’m in Ca. Dealers here are asking 5-15k AdM. Found a new 2019 802a out of state (GA) and after some negotiating I got it for slightly over $11k under MSRP. Was loaded with every option besides the Recaros. MSRP was $75,4xx something. Got it for $64,***.

But paying $2k enclosed shipping over 2700 miles and then TTL. Still better than getting ***** in CA and was the exact truck I was looking for. Deals are out there. I was hunting for a few months

On a plus side, the inflated Cali prices keep resale up especially here so that’s nice. Will probably get low to mid 60’s for mine in a couple yrs when I’ll most likely be getting a new truck. We’ll see

Best of both worlds.......except for the living in CA part.

I picked up a used ‘20 802a with some additional options and about $5k worth of aftermarket parts for a shade under $62k. It did have 8500 miles though. Still smells like new. When I was looking I was getting prices from $63-65k for new 19’s.

Buy out of state.

I looked into buying out of state, but in order to register it in CA, they hit you with the sales tax. After transportation costs, it really didn't make much sense to do it. Plus, now I have a better relationship with the dealer that I purchased the truck from, rather than if I had purchased elsewhere.

CA is just expensive, on top of an expensive truck. But at least we can hit baja. Got back three days ago from a 5 day trip, and heading back down in 6 days for another 5 days.
